NOTE appoints Arne Forslund as new managing director

NOTE's board today appointed Arne Forslund as NOTE's new managing director as of 1 November 2005.

NOTE's board has appointed Arne Forslund as the company's new managing director and group manager. Arne Forslund has held positions in the field of trade and industry, including with Danaher Motion, Ortivus and Siemens-Elema, and most recently at Teleflex Morse as Operations Director Europe. Arne Forslund is replacing Kjell-Åke Andersson, who will be at management's disposal.

"Totally in line with our long-term plan we have sought and now found a good replacement for Kjell-Åke Andersson, who has done good work in consolidating the group. We are now proceeding, and in Arne Forslund we are getting a leader with a clear focus on growth who we believe can continue positive development of the group," says Sten Dybeck, the chairman of NOTE AB's board.

"Managing a growth company such as NOTE is a challenge," says Arne Forslund. "NOTE has a modern business model, and I will be continuing to work in accordance with the guidelines set by the board. I also hope my international experience will come in handy."

"I'm reckoning on the first stage of consolidation being completed by 1 November. It will then be a good time for Arne to take over at the helm, and he will have the opportunity to continue to develop NOTE," says Kjell-Åke Andersson.

The previously announced forecast of a turnover of SEK 1,500-1,600 million for 2005 still applies, as does the long-term margin target of (EBT) 6%.
