The sale is expected to generate a small capital gain in the fourth quarter of the year and a reduction in the group's net debt of some T\u20ac101,000. An agreement has also been reached on continued production co-operation. Overall, this agreement is expected to result in a minor reduction in consolidated sales. NOTE has during ...<\/strong><\/div>\n<p><span>NOTE implemented extensive restructuring measures in the year to reduce costs and increase capacity utilisation. At year-end, NOTE divested its operation in Skellefte\u00e5, Sweden. After transferring production to other group units, the plants in Sk\u00e4nninge, Sweden and Taurag\u00e9, Lithuania were closed in the autumn. Operations in Gdansk, Poland, are scheduled to cease at the end of 2010. All in all, these cost-cutting and efficiency measures will have a positive effect on earnings of just over SEK 50 million measured as an annual rate. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>An agreement has been signed on the sale of NOTE's 50% holding in the electronics plant NOTEFideltronik in Krakow, Poland.<strong> <\/strong>The buyer is the former partner and half-owner Zbigniew Fidelus, who is also the main owner of the Polish EMS manufacturer Fideltronik. The sale is expected to result in a small capital gain in the fourth quarter of the year and a reduction of the Group's net debt by approximately TSEK 101 thousand. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached on continued production co-operation. Overall, the settlement is expected to result in a minor reduction in the Group's turnover.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Following these measures, NOTE's volume production is essentially at its wholly owned plants in P\u00e4rnu, Estonia and Tangxia, China. As before, sales, development and small batch production are conducted in NOTE's units close to customers - Nearsourcing Centres - in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201dThe deal we are doing now is in line with the structure we want for the future. Through the decisive actions we took in the year, we have reduced costs and adjusted production capacity to a good level.
