{"id":15833,"date":"2007-04-25T19:51:01","date_gmt":"2007-04-25T17:51:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.note-ems.com\/press-releases\/institutionella-agare-rostar-for-ny-styrelse-i-note\/"},"modified":"2025-12-02T08:28:35","modified_gmt":"2025-12-02T07:28:35","slug":"institutional-agare-rostar-for-new-board-in-note","status":"publish","type":"mfn_news","link":"https:\/\/www.note-ems.com\/en\/press-release\/institutional-agare-rostar-for-new-board-in-note\/","title":{"rendered":"Institutional shareholders vote in favour of new Board of Directors of NOTE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At today's Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NOTE, a group of mainly institutional shareholders with a combined holding of around 40 per cent of the votes and capital in the company proposed and voted for a new Board of Directors. <\/p>\n<p>On the proposal of the institutional shareholders, the AGM elected a new Board of Directors consisting of Bruce Grant, Chairman, and members Kjell-\u00c5ke Andersson, H\u00e5kan Gellerstedt, G\u00f6ran Jansson, Hans Johansson, Per-Arne Sandstr\u00f6m and re-elected Arne Forslund. <\/p>\n<p>At a subsequent statutory Board meeting, Mr Forslund was appointed President and CEO, a position he left in February 2007 following a disagreement with the then Board on the company's strategic development.<\/p>\n<p>\"A number of institutional owners have concluded that we lack confidence in the previous board and the CEO who was surprisingly appointed in February. Through our actions, the company will have a board with long and broad experience of product development, manufacturing, logistics and purchasing linked to business development and acquisitions. At the same time, former CEO Arne Forslund can now continue his successful work of change,\" says Gunnar H\u00e5kanson at Catella Kapitalf\u00f6rvaltning, which is acting together with Catella Fonder and Carnegie Sm\u00e5bolagsfond, among others.
