The competition, which has been organised by auditing firm Ernst &amp; Young since 1995, is part of the worldwide Entrepreneur Of The Year competition.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>Ernst &amp; Young organises \"Entrepreneur Of The Year\" every year to raise the profile of entrepreneurs and increase interest in entrepreneurship in Sweden. The aim is also for the award to be a spur for tomorrow's entrepreneurs. Today, \"Entrepreneur Of The Year\" is one of Sweden's - and the world's - leading awards for entrepreneurs. <\/p>\n<p>During Thursday's final, NOTE's CEO Erik Stenfors received the award as \"Star of the Year\" with the motivation:<\/p>\n<p>\"A bright star in the entrepreneurial sky who, without any start-up capital of his own, has in just a few years created a listed company worth billions. With the drive and mission to save Sweden's opportunities for continued industrial production with more jobs as an industrial innovator, he is building on our tradition of developing new high-tech products for a global market.\"<\/p>\n<p>- We started NOTE in 1999 and our ambition was to become one of Sweden's leading contract manufacturers within five years, which we have achievedAs an entrepreneur, you can never sit still, now we have raised our ambition further and aim to become one of Europe's leading contract manufacturers within the next five years,\" concluded Erik Stenfors in his speech at the award ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>- \"We are naturally very proud within the group that Erik Stenfors has been recognised as 'Star of the Year',\" says Sten Dybeck, Chairman of NOTE.<\/p>\n<p>During the evening, Jens Spendrup and Johan Sta\u00ebl von Holstein spoke about their visions of entrepreneurship.
