NOTE signs agreement with \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms exceeding SEK 150 million<\/p>\n
NOTE, one of Sweden's leading contract manufacturers of electronics, has
\nsigned an agreement for the manufacture of all \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms products.
\nThe agreement, which guarantees a minimum volume of 150 MSEK, also includes
\ntakeover of \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m's own electronics production in Bj\u00f6rbo.<\/p>\n
Since the spring, NOTE has been manufacturing \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms truck computers for tough
\nenvironments. The co-operation is now being extended to \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m's other
\nbusiness unit, wireless radio control systems. In this context, NOTE takes
\nover \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m's own production in Bj\u00f6rbo, comprising about 20 people.
\n\u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms recently received its second prestigious order from the USA. Previously, the
\nFord chose \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms, and now Mercedes has also chosen \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms computers
\nfor its production facility in Alabama.<\/p>\n

\nThe agreement, which initially runs for three years, covers all \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms
\nproducts and guarantees a minimum volume of 150 MSEK. \u00c5kerstr\u00f6ms' own
\nproduction consisting of about 20 people in Bj\u00f6rbo is transformed into a so-called
\nGateway for the NOTE group in Dalarna. The business will
\norganisationally to be placed under NOTE's plant in Torsby.<\/p>\n
\"There are several interesting product companies in Dalarna,\" says Gerd Levin-
\nNygren, CEO of NOTE Torsby, whose newly built production facility was inaugurated

\nproximity to customers - has been much appreciated and we expect
