NOTE's new factory inaugurated by \"Svennis\"<\/p>\n
NOTE's new production plant in Torsby, Sweden, has now been inaugurated by football manager Sven-G\u00f6ran Eriksson. The plant is one of Europe's most modern, with a factory layout adapted to NOTE's Excellence concept.<\/p>\n
On Thursday afternoon, 26 August, Sven-G\u00f6ran Eriksson - England's national football team manager - cut the ribbon on NOTE's new production plant in Torsby, Sweden. The 4,500 square metre plant is based on industrial innovation with a strong high-tech profile. In addition to Sven-G\u00f6ran Eriksson and NOTE representatives, the inauguration was attended by the Governor of V\u00e4rmland, Eva Eriksson, and Torsby Municipal Council member H\u00e5kan Laack.<\/p>\n
\"With this production plant, NOTE is well equipped for future challenges in a boom,\" says Erik Stenfors, CEO of NOTE. \"Of course, we are also very grateful that Sven-G\u00f6ran, who has many ties to Torsby, has been involved in the factory opening.\" <\/p>\n
\"In Torsby, we specialise in electronics in harsh environments,\" says Gerd Levin-Nygren, CEO of NOTE Torsby. \"That is, electronics in products exposed to vibration, moisture, extreme temperatures, etc. Manufacturing competence in this area is important for many product development companies in Sweden.\"
\nMore than 200 invited guests had gathered for the ceremony. In their speeches, County Governor Eva Eriksson and Municipal Councillor H\u00e5kan Laack emphasised that the investment is important for the county and for the municipality, not least through the innovative thinking behind the new factory. <\/p>\n
After the opening ceremony, a hearing was held on the theme of leadership. The panel included Sven-G\u00f6ran Eriksson and Gerd Levin-Nygren, who was named Manager of the Year earlier this year.
\nThe afternoon ended with a factory tour and banquet.<\/p>\n
