NOTE Bor\u00e5s expands operations and announces management changes<\/p>\n
NOTE Bor\u00e5s today inaugurates a full-scale prototype laboratory in
\nconnection to the existing production facility. At the same time
\nannouncing upcoming management changes.<\/p>\n
During a customer meeting with over 30 invited companies, NOTE Bor\u00e5s today inaugurates
\nNOTE Lab - a laboratory developed specifically for
\nprototyping of new electronic products. The laboratory contains
\nfull production equipment, and also staff with specialised
\ncompetences and specially selected testing instruments. The aim is to - in addition to
\nprototypes - be able to deliver feedback of production experience.<\/p>\n
\"High-quality feedback during the prototyping phase is crucial. Then
\ndetermines the cost, quality, and price of the future product
\ndelivery precision\", says the NOTE group's Lab expert Anders Andersson,
\nand CEO of NOTE Nyk\u00f6ping-Sk\u00e4nninge. \"We have used this concept
\nsuccessfully in several other NOTE facilities, and we are now expanding the service
\nto product owners in western Sweden,\" Andersson continues.<\/p>\n
On 1 May Anders Andersson was appointed acting Deputy CEO of NOTE
\nBor\u00e5s. Anders is a civil engineer and was previously active as CEO of ITAB-
\ngroup, from which NOTE acquired ITAB Elektronik in 2003.
\nAnders was responsible for both the development and production of
\nelectronics products. Anders will work on implementing NOTE
\nLab, and deepening co-operation with strategic customers.<\/p>\n
NOTE Bor\u00e5s also announces that its CEO, Anders Claesson, intends to leave
\nhis position in the summer. \"The change is planned,\" says Anders
\nClaesson. \"Under the previous owner, it was a tough period with threats of bankruptcy
\nbefore NOTE took over the business. Today, the situation is stable with large
\ninvestments and further development of the business. The
\nfeels good to be able to leave the company now that the business is showing positive
\nresults,\" says Claesson.<\/p>\n
Erik Stenfors, CEO of NOTE: \"It is very sad that Anders
\nends, but we are grateful that he stayed during the recreation of
\noperations in Bor\u00e5s. Anders now leaves a profitable company with good
\nfuture prospects\".<\/p>\n
In the summer, NOTE will announce a new CEO for NOTE Bor\u00e5s.<\/p>\n
