NOTE continues European expansion - now in France<\/p>\n
NOTE announced at the Electronica-exhibition in Munich that the Group is now establishing itself in France. Anette Malmstr\u00f6m has been appointed to lead the French operation.<\/p>\n
NOTE's objective is to become one of Europe's leading contract manufacturers of electronics by 2009. The company initiated its European expansion in October with the setting-up of a Gateway* in London and is now expanding into France by opening a second Gateway in Strasbourg.<\/p>\n
\"Establishing a presence in France is a natural step\", says Erik Stenfors, NOTE's chief executive. \"We already have customers in France, and see good opportunities for continued growth on the French EMS market\".<\/p>\n
The French operation will be led by Anette Malmstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n

* A Gateway is a smaller unit located close to key client areas. The NOTE Gateway gives clients access to services related to the industrialisation phase. A Gateway also serves as a portal for other forms of added value that NOTE offers through its business model, including the global ems-ALLIANCE network. NOTE currently has five Gateways in Sweden and one in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
