- The group report the best result, profit or loss, ever;
\nNet turnover increased to SEK 514 m. (350).
\n- Profit per share after tax amounts to SEK 52. (19).
\n- In April the annual general meeting accepted the
\nproposal from the board of a new trade mark strategy
\nunder the group name NOTE.
\n- In May a co-operation agreement was signed with Sigma
\nInnovation (now a days Epsilon AB) - a company that
\nworks with product development. Through the agreement
\nNOTEs customers receive access to advanced electronic
\nproduction.
\n- In September a prototype workshop was opened in
\nElectrum in Kista just outside Stockholm. Kista is called the
\nhigh-tech centre of Sweden.
\n- In November the global network was launched under its
\nown marketing profile, ems-ALLIANCE, at the
\nProductronica fair in Munich. Swedish as well as international
\npress attended the event.
\n- During the fourth quarter of the year an option programme
\nwas offered to executives within the group. The programme
\nwas fully signed.
\n- At the end of the year new production premises of 1000
\nsquare metres were completed at the Norrtelje<\/p>\n
