Job Description

NOTE Stonehouse are looking for a SMT Supervisor who constantly strives for excellence. This is a new position, providing the right person the opportunity to place their stamp on an experienced team.

Initially Reporting to the Managing Director, the SMT Supervisor is an integral member of the production team. Working closely with KAMs, Engineering, quality, and other departments to ensure the production process runs efficiently, ensuring customer requirements are meet.

Duties:

  • Support Surface Mount (SMT) assembly line/equipment including programming, maintenance, equipment/software trouble shooting, and debug of new and existing production assembly programs.
  • Ensuring NPIs are implemented effectively
  • Perform failure analysis and/or root cause analysis of defects and/or field
  • Perform inspection, corrective and preventive actions, and other quality assurance related assignments to ensure that the SMT line is producing a high- quality product.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are
  • Monitor the machine condition to run smoothly and avoid unnecessary
  • Covering department holidays and running SMT equipment as necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience of continuous running and setting of SMT equipment.
  • Minimum 2 years leading a team
  • Understanding of Mycronics equipment is desirable but not
  • Understanding of IPC 610 standards

Remuneration & Contract:

  • Salary starting from £33,000 to £36,000 Per a year (Dependent on Experience)
  • Permanent position
  • Start date: ASAP

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm
  • Friday 8am to 12:30pm
