In Herrljunga, around 40 employees work in a close-knit and dedicated organisation where everyone makes a difference. We are now looking for a production technician who wants to help develop efficient workflows, improve working methods and lay the foundations for modern and competitive production.

Job description

As a production technician, you’ll have a broad and varied role in which you’ll work closely with the business and play a key part in creating smart, safe and efficient workflows – with a focus on quality, health and safety, and solutions that work in everyday practice.

Much of the initial focus will be on preliminary and final cost estimates, time studies and process improvement. You will examine how the work is currently carried out, monitor time and workflows, and identify opportunities to simplify, clarify and develop working methods in collaboration with your colleagues on site.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience of production engineering, industrial development or similar work within the manufacturing industry. You thrive when working closely with the business, enjoy understanding how things work in practice, and have a natural drive to improve, simplify and create clarity.

You do not need to have experience in the electronics industry, but you do need to have a good understanding of production flows and feel comfortable switching between analysis, documentation, system-related work and hands-on improvement work on the shop floor.
