Job description
As a quality technician, you will have a broad and varied role at the heart of the business. You will work both at an operational level, dealing with customer complaints, supplier non-conformities and quality issues in production, and at a more strategic level, dealing with management systems, ISO standards and audits.

You thrive in a production-oriented environment where you switch between urgent quality-related issues and long-term development work. For the right person, there are excellent opportunities to eventually progress into a role with greater responsibility for quality.

Your main duties:
• Handle and follow up on customer complaints, supplier non-conformities and other quality issues
• Work closely with the production team to identify, investigate and prevent quality issues
• Take part in and lead improvement initiatives relating to processes and working methods
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of the organisation’s management system
• Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards and customer requirements
• Plan and take part in internal and external audits
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and colleagues on quality-related matters

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience of quality assurance work in the manufacturing industry who enjoys combining practical problem-solving on the shop floor with more structured quality and improvement work. You are unpretentious, curious and confident in asking questions to find the right solutions. At the same time, you have the ability to drive your own initiatives forward and manage several tasks simultaneously.

Requirements
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Experience of quality assurance work in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the electronics industry
• Experience of working in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Experience of ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• Knowledge of validation and quality tools, such as IQ, OQ, PQ, PPAP and FMEA.
• Experience of working with digital management systems
• Experience of handling customer complaints, dealing with non-conformities and carrying out improvement work
• Experience of LEAN and structured improvement work
• A good command of spoken and written English

What do we offer you?
At NOTE Herrljunga, you will become part of a committed and supportive organisation where staff are described as unpretentious, loyal and keen to help one another. You’ll have a varied role covering a wide range of responsibilities, with many points of contact and the opportunity to influence both day-to-day quality work and the continued development of the business.
For the right person, there is a clear career path where you can gradually take on greater responsibility in the areas of quality, management systems and audits.
