- The group reports its best operating result ever,
27 MILLION. Net sales increased to SEK 514 million (350).
- Earnings per share after tax totalled SEK 52 (19).
- In April, the General Meeting adopted the Board's proposal for a new
brand strategy under the group name NOTE.
- In May, a co-operation agreement was signed with Sigma Innovation
AB (now Epsilon AB) - a company working with
product development. The agreement gives NOTE's customers access to
to advanced electronics design.
- In September, a prototype workshop was opened in Electrum, Kista.
- In November, the global network was launched during a
own market profile, ems-ALLIANCE, at the Productronics show
in Munich. Both Swedish and international press
drew attention to the incident.
- During the fourth quarter, an option programme was offered to senior
executives of the group.
The programme was fully subscribed.
- At the end of the year, a further production facility was completed
of 1000 square metres for the Norrtälje factory.
