From local circuit board manufacturer to global electronics producer in one year. The group is now changing its name to NOTE.

Increased global focus, sales growth of 63 per cent in one year, acquisitions and newly established subsidiaries. The trend is upwards for electronics manufacturer NOTE.

The CEO of NOTE (formerly Norrtelje) justifies the name change: " - We want to present a clear image to our surroundings. After a year in which companies have been acquired and newly formed, there is every reason to create a common profile. "

The global initiative has succeeded. NOTE is currently represented in Brazil, India, China, Germany and the USA, with more countries on the way, which is why the group has adopted a name that is also internationally viable," continues Sten Dybeck.

NOTE AB is the group's parent company, and the group has three electronics production companies: NOTE Norrtelje AB (formerly Norrtelje Elektronik AB) with 230 employees, NOTE Torsby AB (formerly Norrtelje EMS Provider i Torsby AB) with 85 employees and NOTE Gdansk Sp z o.o. (formerly EuroSupply Central Europe Sp z o.o.), which co-ordinates the group's Central European electronics production with over 1,000 employees. The group also expanded with two newly formed companies: NOTE Components AB, which co-ordinates component sourcing worldwide, and NOTE Development AB, which is expanding the group's global network.

The group has a turnover of approximately SEK 500 million. The share is listed on Roslagens Sparbank in Norrtälje and an introduction on the Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to take place by 2005.
