Knut Pogost appointed new CEO and President of NOTE

The Board of Directors of NOTE AB has appointed Knut Pogost as new President and CEO of NOTE.

Knut Pogost is currently Executive Vice President of NOTE with responsibility for strategy development. He will take up his new position immediately. Knut has many years of experience from senior positions in the electronics industry, including at Norwegian EMS supplier Kitron and Canadian electronics distributor Future Electronics.

Bruce Grant, Chairman of NOTE, comments:
”Since the new Board of Directors of NOTE took office in spring 2007, extensive development work has been conducted to transform the business - from a traditional contract manufacturer of electronics-based products to a unique service provider on the EMS market. Major personnel changes have been implemented, and a significant proportion of production now takes place at the group's units outside Sweden. Our strategy and future focus on Nearsourcing remains firm. We will now further increase our market offensive, which is why it is natural to transfer NOTE's leadership to Knut Pogost, who has solid experience of international sales and marketing in the electronics industry.

The Board of Directors would like to thank the outgoing CEO and President, Arne Forslund, for a job well done in initiating the group's extensive rationalisation and renewal work, which has laid the foundation for the new NOTE.”
