NOTE and SWE-DISH sign agreement to expand co-operation
”I see SWE-DISH's decision to continue our already established business relationship as proof that NOTE's focus on QDC - quality, delivery precision and favourable total cost of ownership - combined with high competence in manufacturing, is just right. This is another example of how our focus on offering a flexible business model that follows the customer's progress and changing needs over time is fully in line with market demand. We've noted increased demand for box-build products, i.e. complete products delivered in the right packaging for the end market, and SWE-DISH is a big part of this increase,” says Arne Forslund, NOTE's President and CEO.
”Our co-operation with SWE-DISH, which started in summer 2001, has developed very well,” comments Patrik Kvarnlöf, CEO of NOTE Norrtelje AB. ”So it feels both natural and strategically right for us to deepen and broaden our co-operation with SWE-DISH. NOTE Norrtelje can also offer a world-class production environment by the summer, when our new factory is ready,” continues Patrik Kvarnlöf.
SWE-DISH is a world leader in mobile satellite communications equipment. The company develops, manufactures and markets compact and easy-to-use terminals and systems for military and civil satellite communications. ”We see NOTE as a long-term partner that contributes valuable expertise in manufacturing, thereby helping to create competitive advantages for us on the global market.” says Lars Jehrlander, CEO of SWE-DISH Satellite Systems. ”NOTE has demonstrated flexibility that suits our continued global expansion and is the right partner for us. We are now concentrating our manufacturing to a factory in Sweden that fulfils our production requirements.”
