NOTE Borås signs new co-operation agreement

NOTE, one of the Nordic region's leading contract manufacturers of electronics, has signed a two-year contract for tactical radio links. Estimated order value SEK 100-150 m.

The contract has been signed with Ericsson Microwave Systems AB, which develops and manufactures radar and information systems for defence and security applications. Some of Ericsson Microwave Systems' production has been conducted by NOTE's security-classified manufacturing unit in Borås. The company has now signed a two-year supplier agreement for the manufacture of tactical communication links for military applications.

"We're proud of our renewed and deepened confidence," says Anders Andersson, CEO of NOTE Borås. "We've been manufacturing for Ericsson Microwave Systems this year, and are very pleased and proud of the contract we've now signed."

"We've been working intensively for over a year to structure and rationalise our operations in Borås," says Erik Stenfors, NOTE's President and CEO. The work done by our staff in Borås, together with investments in new machinery and support from customers, is now starting to pay off. We see renewed confidence from Ericsson Microwave Systems as a sign of our success."
