NOTE chooses Mydata - again

Mydata Automation has just delivered NOTE's fifth new surface-mount assembly line in a year. This investment is part of NOTE's strategic expansion plans and forms part of a multi-year co-operation agreement. The line is being delivered to NOTE Nyköping-Skänninge, the latest member of the NOTE family. It features many product innovations, such as automatic vision programming of components and the latest version of the Agilis LM component feeding system, now also for 12 and 16 mm wide component tapes.

NOTE is one of Mydata's key customers, and its plants in Lund, Torsby and Skänninge only use surface mounting lines from the company. Mydata surface mount machines are also key components of NOTE Lab, which is located at all the group's plants.

- One of the advantages of having the same brand for surface mounting is that we get great opportunities to adapt production as needed. For example, at peak times we can easily move production from one factory to another. In this way, we can be just as flexible and fast as our customers demand of us," says Peter Jansson, Production Director at NOTE.

The agreement between NOTE and Mydata is multi-year and involves collaboration on technology development and deliveries.
