NOTE changes in management

NOTE's CEO Erik Stenfors, who has led the company for six years, has reached an agreement with the Board of Directors to leave the company in 2005. Deputy CEO Kjell-Åke Andersson will take over the role of CEO.

NOTE's CEO Erik Stenfors has announced that he wishes to leave the company in the year. The Board of Directors has appointed Deputy CEO Kjell-Åke Andersson as new CEO with immediate effect.

"It's with mixed feelings that I've made this decision," says Erik Stenfors, outgoing CEO of NOTE. "NOTE has had fantastic progress thanks to a clear business model, combining hi-tech in Sweden with volume production in Central Europe. But while NOTE has gained more of my time - the family has gained less. That's the reason for the decision - especially as we're expecting our third child this summer. It feels good to hand over to Kjell-Åke, who is one of the most experienced industrial managers in the ems sector, and who is also a good industrial builder."

Kjell-Åke Andersson was previously CEO of the Group's subsidiary in Lund and has served as Deputy CEO for the past year.

"Erik has done a tremendous job over the years," said Sten Dybeck, Chairman of the Board. "At the same time, we are now entering a new period with new challenges and I understand that Erik is phasing out of his current position."

Mr Stenfors will remain on the Board and will be part of an operational working committee in 2005 to facilitate the change of management.
