NOTE receives large telecoms order from Allgon
-"This is a big order for us. It enables us to further increase the strong growth rate we've had in recent years," says Mats Hultin, CEO of NOTE Norrtelje AB. The order is also pleasing because it shows that the Swedish telecoms industry is still growing strongly.
NOTE has a long-standing partnership with Allgon, including the manufacture of components for GSM networks. The new order will further develop this co-operation.
One of the reasons NOTE won this order is that it is now part of the worldwide ems-ALLIANCE network, which NOTE initiated. This network includes companies with the same focus and size as NOTE from seven countries, including China.
-"This means that we can move production closer to the customer or the customer's market on four continents," says Mats Hultin. "This is an important strength when we compete with international companies.
NOTE Norrtelje AB is part of the NOTE group. Operating profit there increased by 152 per cent to SEK 12.2 million in the first half-year this year. Net sales increased by 70 per cent to SEK 252.6 million in the same period.
