NOTE Norrtelje AB (formerly Norrtelje Elektronik) takes place on the Growth List 2001

Norrtelje Elektronik AB in Norrtälje (which changed its name to NOTE Norrtelje in April) has qualified for the Growth List 2001, presented today by growth consultant Ahrens and Svenska Dagbladet. The Growth List - the list where everyone is a winner - comprises Sweden's 62 fastest growing companies.

- To grow as quickly, profitably and sustainably as Norrtelje Elektronik has done is a fantastic achievement," says Thomas Ahrens, CEO of Ahrens Rapid Growth.

Last year, the Growth List was topped by IT consultants and staffing companies, but this year product companies in traditional industries are high on the list.

Norrtelje Elektronik AB has qualified for the fifth year in a row and is this year in 53rd place on the Growth List.

Ahrens' definition of a growth company is a company that, over the past five years, has had an average organic turnover increase of at least 25 per cent, has 50 employees and a turnover of at least SEK 50 million. Ahrens Rapid Growth and Svenska Dagbladet have published the Growth List annually since 1993.
