NOTE signs exclusivity agreement with Parker Hannifin
This collaboration is the result of a lengthy evaluation process Parker conducted, where NOTE developed a total concept for Parker. "We're very proud of our agreement with Parker," says Erik Stenfors, NOTE's CEO, "Parker has very high demands on our ability to offer services across the entire value chain, i.e. production engineering development, component sourcing, manufacturing and 100% delivery precision," Stenfors continues.
For Parker, it's not just about appointing a supplier, but also about appointing a knowledge partner. "To be competitive today, an EMS supplier must do much more than just manufacture electronics," says Claes Oskarsson, Global Materials Manager, Parker Hannifin. "The products we develop must reach the market quickly, with the right quality at the right cost, and here the producer has a crucial responsibility through the industrialisation phase," Oskarsson concludes.
NOTE has been responsible for Parker's production in the USA for a year now through ems-ALLIANCETM - a global network NOTE has built up to meet customers' global production requirements. "Our aim with the alliance is to facilitate production for the customer. Customers contact their local producer, who then liaises with the factory in the alliance that will handle production. Parker thus retains its Swedish contact person even when the products are to be produced elsewhere in the world," concludes Erik Stenfors.
