NOTE signs strategic agreement with Powerwave - signs new extended agreement
A new agreement has been signed between NOTE and Powerwave, formerly LGP Allgon. The agreement is a natural step in the co-operation between the companies, since NOTE was selected as a "selected supplier" by Powerwave at the end of 2003.
The combined base of Powerwave USA, Asia and Europe means that competition among contract manufacturers has increased sharply. Powerwave did a lot of work last year to reduce and optimise the number of suppliers, and chose NOTE as one of its main suppliers.

Glocal partner
Powerwave no longer sees NOTE solely as a local EMS partner, but has become a 'global partner' (local & global), which means that orders from Powerwave have increased sharply.

They also have a sound approach to modern materials procurement and a good spread across different market segments," says Stefan Måhl, Director of Strategic Purchasing at Powerwave.
New strategy
Powerwave's strategy is to involve its suppliers right from the product development stage, in order to jointly optimise design and component selection, thereby strengthening the company's competitiveness.
