NOTE starts strategic co-operation with Sigma group companies

NOTE AB today signs a collaboration agreement with Sigma Innovation AB, a company with specialist competence in high-tech product development. This agreement will lead to NOTE and Sigma Innovation strengthening their roles in their respective business areas.

The agreement gives NOTE (formerly Norrtelje Elektronik AB), the only Swedish-owned global electronics manufacturer on the market, access to Sigma Innovation's product development know-how, something that more and more production customers are demanding. Correspondingly, the collaboration strengthens Sigma Innovation's role as a leading player in advanced product development.

Erik Stenfors, CEO of NOTE Development, is very positive about the collaboration:
"Together with Sigma Innovation, we can take on assignments that cover the entire value chain from production development to aftermarket."

Mats Boström, CEO of Sigma Innovation, sees increased opportunities by being able to offer a stronger overall concept together with NOTE:

NOTE has sales of approximately SEK 500 m and plans an IPO by 2005.

Sigma Innovation is a subsidiary of Sigma's engineering solutions business area, which is preparing an IPO under the name Epsilon AB.
