NOTE Lund has signed an agreement to take over Malmö-based FuTechs, thereby strengthening its assembly expertise.
NOTE has positioned itself as one of Scandinavia's foremost contract manufacturers of electronics, partly by being an industry leader in modern production equipment. In line with this strategy, the group's subsidiary in Lund, NOTE Lund AB, has signed an agreement to take over Malmö-based FuTechs AB
FuTechs, based in MEDEON Science Park, is Sweden's leading company in the field of Chip-on-board (COB) assembly, i.e. the assembly of "naked" IC circuits without a plastic capsule, a technology that is necessary to further shrink the dimensions of printed circuit boards.
"The deal with FuTechs is a further step in our endeavour to consolidate our position as a technology leader in contract manufacturing. Our customers, both traditional industrial companies and development companies, are often at the cutting edge of technology.
