NOTE's factory in China reopens its operations

The factory in Tangxia, China, reopened today after the extended New Year shutdown caused by the Coronavirus. In the first week, the factory will have about 50% capacity and the plan is to be in full production by the end of February.

NOTE has taken the necessary measures to prepare the plant for start-up and to prevent the spread of the virus. This has been done in consultation with local authorities, which have authorised start-up. To catch up with the backlog created by the extended shutdown, staff will be working overtime. A close dialogue is being maintained with key suppliers to avoid disruptions in deliveries as far as possible.

Ahead of the Chinese New Year, NOTE is working continuously to raise stock levels of critical components, because there are always some disruptions associated with this. This means that NOTE's preparedness for the year's disruptions is fairly good.
