CEO commentary on the Q1 report:
”After a long period of declining volumes, we could already see last autumn that our marketing efforts were beginning to pay off. In the fourth quarter of last year, we recorded sales growth of just over 61,000 tonnes, and in the first quarter of this year, sales increased by just over 81,000 tonnes to SEK 232.8 million. The growth in the first quarter was a combination of increased assignments to previously established customers and the gradual impact of increased volumes in the customer partnerships that have been initiated recently.
Mainly as a result of increased sales, NOTE's operating profit improved by SEK 5.5 million to SEK 5.8 (0.3) million. Cash flow after investments was also positive, at SEK 23.1 (-8.0) million.
Our order book is currently supporting a positive volume development compared to last year”, says Peter Laveson, President and CEO.
