NOTE's interim report January - September 2004

In the January-September period, NOTE increased sales by SEK 42.1 million to SEK 826.3 (581.8) thousand, and operating profit by SEK 28.1 million to SEK 61.6 (48.0) thousand. Earnings per share after full tax were thus SEK 4.3 (3.5) for the nine-month period.

"We're particularly pleased with the way our European strategy has been initiated, through establishment in the UK and increased internationalisation of production," says Erik Stenfors, CEO of NOTE. "The NOTE group's target of being one of Europe's leading EMS suppliers by 2009 remains unchanged. Analyses and preparations for further establishments are ongoing."

The NOTE group was established in the UK on 1 October. After the end of the reporting period, the process of introducing materials and sourcing functions in Central Europe has intensified, while staff with corresponding functions have been given notice of redundancy in Sweden.
