Radi Medical Systems chooses NOTE as supplier

After an extensive evaluation, NOTE has been selected as a supplier of medical technology products with high quality standards. Initially, NOTE is developing and manufacturing an advanced wireless instrument used to measure blood pressure in the coronary arteries. NOTE's selection as a supplier opens the way for further collaboration on future products.

Radi Medical Systems (Radi) is a St. Jude Medical company that conducts applied research, develops, manufactures, markets and sells its own innovative medical devices in the field of interventional cardiology. This is done in close collaboration with physicians and other clinical professionals to improve patient care.

The instrument, which is the first wireless of its kind, will be manufactured at NOTE's plant in Torsby, Sweden. A web-based test database that enables customers to view quality outcomes directly from production has been developed at the Norrtälje plant.

”We placed the greatest emphasis on finding a supplier that fulfils all our quality requirements. NOTE has the overall technology to handle our products, and also a good way of working that really gives us the attention we need to maintain high quality. The possibility of volume production in China is also an advantage,” says Jonny Munther, Technical Purchasing Manager at Radi.

”We're extremely pleased and proud that Radi chose NOTE as its supplier after the extensive and demanding evaluation. Radi's products fit well into the production group built up for NOTE Torsby's medical customers, where high demands are placed on quality assurance, traceability and ISO certification for the medical sector,” says Knut Pogost, NOTE's President and CEO.
