TietoEnator selects NOTE as global turnkey supplier

Responsible for all logistics management
The agreement means that NOTE Torsby is now responsible for all logistics management of TietoEnator's signalling solutions, including production, warehousing and delivery of software and hardware direct to customers.
- Now we can concentrate on our core business, which is product development with associated consulting and training services," says Mats Skoting, head of TietoEnator Signalling Solutions.
- "It is important for us to have an electronics supplier with good quality, high expertise and a high level of service that can take on an overall commitment for logistics," explains Mats Skoting. "The fact that we have also found a local partner in Värmland is positive for the region, while the geographical proximity facilitates our contacts," continues Mats Skoting, who is also chairman of the regional IT foundation Compare Karlstad.
Specialising in complex products
The NOTE group is a global partner offering flexible electronics production and customised logistics solutions. NOTE in Torsby, Sweden, specialises in short runs with high flexibility for complex products that require advanced testing, for example.
- That's why we don't produce large volumes in Torsby - but small and medium-sized series for companies with very specific quality requirements such as TietoEnator," explains Gerd Levin-Nygren.
Gerd sees this as one of the success factors for the company.
- We have been able to expand despite the fluctuations in the electronics market.
NOTE Torsby has previously worked primarily with electronics products for the automotive industry.
- We have previously had some cooperation with Ericsson - but through the agreement with TietoEnator we are now growing in the telecoms market, which we see as an exciting development for our business," Gerd concludes.
Facts about TietoEnator Signalling Solutions
TietoEnator Signaling Solutions in Karlstad is responsible for marketing and sales of signalling solutions on the market outside Ericsson.
The solutions are based on signalling products developed within TietoEnator in Karlstad in partnership with Ericsson.
TietoEnator's signalling solutions are sold to customers worldwide - mainly network operators and service providers in the telecom market.
