NOTE's Windsor plant temporarily suspends production due to the Corona virus

NOTE has eight electronics plants located in Sweden, Finland, Estonia, the UK and China, and after a prolonged production stoppage in China due to the coronavirus situation, the plant reopened on 10 February. Otherwise, NOTE's plants have been running at high capacity utilisation. As previously communicated in a press release on 12 March, NOTE's sales in Q1 are estimated at SEK 460-470 million, corresponding to growth of some 151 FTEs.

In line with UK government decisions to restrict all non-essential travel and industrial activities, NOTE's Windsor plant has temporarily stopped production as of today. This plant represents some 10% of NOTE's total production. The temporary shutdown is expected to be subject to the UK authorities' recently introduced support measures, which include full compensation for the wage costs of laid-off staff.
