In order to be able to offer complete and advanced production close to you - no matter where in the world you operate - Norrtelje Elektronik is buying the fast-growing electronics company EuroSupply Nordic AB.
Global production - we manufacture where it's best for you!
EuroSupply has a large network of electronics manufacturers in North and South America, Asia and Europe. Norrtelje Elektronik now offers production in all these continents and continues to expand its network. This allows us to follow you around the world and serve you with production in different countries. Our network also improves our range of services in other ways, for example, we now have the capacity to take care of your very largest circuit board series. As our customer, you can choose individual services, or let Norrtelje Elektronik handle everything - from component purchasing to delivery of finished products.
Logistics benefits for you - as our component purchases increase significantly.
Our flexibility will now be even greater as our total capacity increases substantially. Partly through our international network, partly through new investments to increase production at the Norrtälje factory, which will continue in 2000. We will also be able to further shorten lead times and will be considerably strengthened in our role as a purchaser of components.
Staff may buy shares.
In conjunction with the acquisition, Norrtelje Elektronik will receive a large capital injection by broadening its ownership base. The capital injection will provide us with the means for our continued expansion and our efforts to further raise both our service level and the expertise of our staff. All employees at Norrtelje Elektronik will also have the opportunity to buy shares. All key employees will of course continue at Norrtelje Elektronik. Both Peter Jansson, production manager, John-Olov Carlsson, head of production development will continue in their current positions, Mats Hultin has promised to remain as CEO for at least five more years.
