Production at NOTE's factory in China temporarily halted
NOTE's plant in China has not yet had any cases of Covid-19. However, it was recently discovered that an employee had been in contact with a Covid-positive relative. In line with local authorities' protective restrictions, the factory will be quarantined, making production impossible at least until Friday 18 February. Mandatory PCR tests of all employees have been conducted without remarks. NOTE is continuing to take the necessary protective measures in co-operation with local authorities.
In line with previous years, and as a precautionary measure in connection with the recently concluded Chinese New Year, NOTE increased stocks of critical components to facilitate production start-up.
”In connection with our Q4 report, NOTE guided for continued very strong progress, with sales growth in the first quarter of this year in the order of 50%. Despite the new covid-related challenge at our China plant, we still believe this is fully achievable.”, says Johannes Lind-Widestam, President and CEO.
