Communication On Progress

As one of northern Europe's first electronics manufacturing partners, NOTE has been a signatory to the UN Global Compact (www.unglobalcompact.org) since 2011.

A COP (Communication On Progress) is reported to the UN annually. This describes NOTE's work on human rights, labour law, the environment and anti-corruption.

On 29/11-22, NOTE CEO Johannes Lind-Widestam signed the NOTE CEO Statement of Support for the Women's Empowerment Principles.

Human rights

PRINCIPLE 1: Supporting and respecting international human rights in the sphere of corporate influence.
PRINCIPLE 2: Ensure that their own companies are not involved in violations of
human rights.

Labour law

PRINCIPLE 3: Uphold freedom of association and recognise the right to collective bargaining.
PRINCIPLE 4: Eliminate all forms of forced labour.
PRINCIPLE 5: Abolish child labour.
PRINCIPLE 6: Eliminate discrimination in recruitment and job assignments.

Environment
